Human connection and automated systems shouldn't work together.

I built THEBAERBØNES to prove they can.

About Me

My fascination with contradictions started with my undergraduate thesis where I reconciled scientific determinism with free-will, then in my graduate dissertation solving the logical paradox of three-in-one unity.

After my Philosophy MA and coding program at the University of Birmingham, I spent years teaching logic and philosophy one-on-one while freelance coding. I operated between deep human interaction and technical work.

I continued in this tension as Technical Lead for an Italian SaaS startup, Vinissimoenology. I created their initial inventory system, translated sommelier expertise into technical requirements, and co-architected their AWS infrastructure.

My current role as Solutions Architect at AICO involves bridging IT, Marketing, and Executive departments while modernizing their integrated website platform. I led the complete redesign of their client-facing interface and internal systems, managing thousands of SKUs while designing integration patterns between legacy ASP code and modern architecture. The new system maintains human touchpoints across departments while operating systematically at enterprise scale.

TheBaerBones represents the full application of this methodology. I remain at the front, maintaining human connection with every client while my automated system operates beneath the surface. Starting with each client's vision, I build their system from that foundation. You’re positioned at the front, with an automated scalable system supporting you underneath.

My Qualifications

Qualifications

Solutions Architect
at International Manufacturing Company

I currently serve as Solutions Architect at AICO, a $100 million furniture manufacturer, where I bridge IT, Marketing, Operations, and Executive departments to optimize digital architecture across the organization.

I solved a $200,000 modernization problem for under $1,000 by designing integration patterns between 30+ years of undocumented legacy systems and modern architecture. The solution delivered the visual impact demanded by the CEO while maintaining all security constraints and enterprise-scale functionality.

Technical Leadership & Systems Integration

As Technical Lead for Vinissimo (Vinissimoenology), an Italian SaaS startup, I created their initial beverage inventory system, translated between founders and the development team, and researched/co-architected their AWS infrastructure.

I also built websites and software solutions for businesses across Interior Design, Music Production, Chamber of Commerce, Agritourism, Construction, and Vacation Rental industries.

These experiences developed my ability to quickly understand diverse business requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions.

Rapid Learning & Multi-Domain Integration

During my MA, I completed a rigorous six-month intensive full-stack coding program while continuing to garner 1,200 hours teaching Philosophy and Logic.

To juggle these competing demands on my time, I learned rapid information synthesis, project management across different subject matters, and how to switch from a technical to an interpersonal mindset with ease.

Philosophy Background

I majored in Philosophy at The American University of Paris and received an MA in Philosophy with a focus on Ethics from the top Philosophy department in the UK, The University of Birmingham.

A study of 600,000+ students found philosophy majors "consistently rank highest in verbal and logical reasoning" with significantly larger gains on critical thinking measures versus non-philosophy majors. They also rank among the highest on standardized and logic tests. Philosophy develops skills in research and analysis, writing, persuasive communication, and learning ability different subjects.

These abilities directly translate to solutions architecting, where research, logical reasoning, communication, and the capacity to synthesize complex problems are essential.

Psychology Background

I also majored in Psychology at The American University of Paris.

Surveys of 400+ Solutions Engineers show 90% rank communication as most critical versus 42% citing technical skills, with 72% highlighting psychological agility as essential. Research reveals 70% of developers' actions are affected by cognitive biases, making psychological training crucial for to counteract biases. The National Soft Skills Association found ~85% of career success stems from interpersonal abilities over technical skills.

Professional Languages

I conduct business in the following languages:

English

French

Italian (limited working proficiency)
